I'm still trying to get a clear grasp of what the new changes in 3.0 mean for druid tanking. I'm hoping I can sort of think out loud here and make sure I'm correct. Pre-patch, we needed our Defense to be at least 415, or have a combination of Defense and Resilience to get us to 5.6 to avoid crits. It was easy enough to just run: /script and see if you were over the thresh-hold or not. Now with 3.0, I think my understanding is that 415 no longer means anything since with talents, we can get 6 crit reduction eliminating our need to get the extra 2.6 crit reduction (or 65 additional Defense). Now, we just need to be at 350 Defense and any Defense over that increases our dodge. This is to the tune of 25 Defense = 1 Dodge = 14.7 Agility. I鈥檓 still leveling my way up to a warp stalker. Cashara is 64, but I want a green stalker. So I have three more levels to go. I like the looks of several of the pets. The dragonhawks are the most beautiful pets in game, at least in my opinion. Warp stalker are the closest we鈥檒l get to taming a dragon. And even the sporebat are cool looking. I鈥檝e tried to warm up to the ravagers, but I still see them as bulldogs of the insect kingdom. So my plans for BC pets are thus: Cashara - Green Warpstalker. Calibos - Dragonhawk. Farli - ??? I had considered a white warp stalker for Farli since he also has an albino crocalisk. But I don鈥檛 know that I want two hunters with the same pet, not with so few stable slots available. since you're at 57 working toward the 59 PVP bow isn't a bad option. I may have misread the Frost talent toolt. I THOUGHT it said +3% Dodge. Ian'thk right now (rushed). Either way, youannot really use RS (well) in a debate bause both sps use it just as often. Blood may get a little bit of additional damage from strength, yeah, but extra damage on Rune Strike from Strength talents shouldn't make up mh of a threat differee. And, even if it does, it would be MINOR and require high gear levels. Plus, I like Frost Strike, whh hits like a trk, over Deathoil. And remember that Rime will give a free HB in 3.1 with the same pr rate as the insta , but do mh more damage. As it stands now, I'm debating between Unholy and Frost. currently using honed void axe on my lvl 65 warrior and i just bought therystal forged war axe for 50g is it worth using till i get my glads wep, iv seen a few lvl 69's in pvp running around with it. Yes it is, unless you wanna spend a ton on Singingrystal Axe. I still use therystalforged on my 70 war as I dided to get a few pies of other honor gear before getting my sword. Pkpket is in there for the rogue lkboxes. Rogue lkboxes are in there for 1) lkpking skill prte and 2) free poison mats.Poison mats, and used to be blinding powder (now repled by dirt). I guess they added Spinesever for a little flavor after phasing out reagent for Blind. There are various ways to get you into pkpketing, there are some mros around that youan use that will automatally pkpket mobs before you use your opener from stealth. I found these to be really unreliable sie they had a habit of only pkpketing one item and not everything in the loot window. Best thing youan do is to make sure you have auto loot turned on. The official Wrath of the Lich King talent calculators have been updated!While most of the changes are tooltip clarifications and new icons for the placeholders, there are a few bigger changes as well: Enhancement Shaman's Maelstrom Weapon now makes any spell instant cast when stacked to 5, not just Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning or Lava Burst.
