above is to use Shamanist Rage at the2009-04-29 00:00:00Another thing I will add to the above is to use Shamanist Rage at the start of the fight every two minutes when it is up. This greatly ireases your Mana Regen.
Hello to everone! My question is - sie i got a 51 lvl troll shaman with enhement sp and i am interested in elemental sp bause i like to throw lightnings(Zeus Rulezz :P).I need some experieed adve about swihing from enhement to elemental. Is it a good thing?Sie i like PVP very mh whh one is the better...
Why not level to 70 and get your2009-04-29 00:00:00Isn't 60 gear somewaht obsolete? Why not level to 70 and get your pvp reward gear at that point? If you dont have T well than that would explain stopping at 60, but other than that I would just level to 70 and get the better level 70 pvp rewards.
pkettss wrote:Would swihing to Restoration Shaman at lvl 60, I will be working my way through battlegrounds to get my 60 gear and, Grand marshal's mageblade along with Grand marshal's tome of Restoration. I was just wondering if that would be a smart idea. No. God no. It's not worth the grind of BG's. Those old world PvP eps will be repled by Outlands greens and q...
for lore reasons and has invested2009-04-27 00:00:00
If hehose a Paladin for lore reasons and has invested this mh time in it, he's going to want to play it out - and when group eounter design isonsidered, Ret is probably thelosest to his ideal. Able to offtank some mobs for a while at least, andapable of throwing out some heals when required, it's the most "Prottor of the Faith" sp. Anyway, both healing and tanking are reallyallings, and if you aren't one of thealled, you'll just bring fail to the group with you - mh more so than DPS. My main is Holy, but I resp to Ret on an irregular basis, so I have some experiee with the learningurve. My gearing path won't help, though - from 70 I have beenollting all three sets, and pked up the appropriate quest rewards e. along the way, but this is probablylosed to him if he's 80. The AHan provide quk and dirty upgrades, asan guild BS, but both takeash, at least for mats. As another er said, easy heros are probably the easy path, as they pa...
damage with a rejuvswiftmend bause it''s2009-04-24 00:00:00
When I heal I generally mitigate spike damage with a rejuvswiftmend bause it's between 4k-7.5k depending on arit or not, or if I need to push even more healing its rejuvsm, NSRegrowthRejuv or bloom. That way I'm dropping a quk two burst heal with a form of HoT heal to follow. The one thing I've heard though is some grumblingrumors as it may not be true is that lifebloom is getting a slight nerf to the amount it ts for. If this be thease, as it alsy may not be thease, I think keeping 3 blooms, rejuve and regrowth is going to be more important than ever.
raid healing a tank, you will generally have a full stk of lifebloom, rej and regrowth running on the tank all the time. generally rasting regrowth if you think you need to top him off, and ofourse paying attention to your lifebloom stks. obviouslyasting rejuv and immediately swiftmending it is ineffient, but just about anything you do in order to deal with burst damage will be ineffient. having all your hots rolling at all times allows you simply swiftmend immediately and then rast rejuv or beginasting regrowth or even healing toh. bursty fights aren't a druid's forte, and this is really only a prob...
putting a druid on raid heals is always our2009-04-24 00:00:00
My guild is now in BT & Hyjal and putting a druid on raid heals is always our last resort (eept for Pally). Shaman & Priests are 10x better at raid heals with theirile of Healing (we make sure all our holy priests haveoH) &hain Heal. Having druids on the MT is fantast, even in "bursty fights" as you have steady stream of ioming healing whh doesn't rely on reting to the burst damage, espially with Lifebloom tking every sond. If you have 2 or 3 trees on the tank, you almost don't get ahae to see the burst damage bause within a sond, you have aouple of 3stks of Lifebloom and quite possibly another HoT tking. I agree that if you have to NS then a max rank Healing Toh is the way to go - it is used in an emergey, so you want to make the max heal in the shorest period of time. If on raid heals (bearing in mind I am usually feral) I would tend to lean towards regrowth ...
it from a 25-man persptive Our priest offer2009-04-24 00:00:00
Yes, I must agree I was looking at it from a 25-man persptive. Our priest offer used to raid with the holydiline sp, but more and more he hasome to appriate the power ofile of healing and now sps it all the time. In 25mans, there is a lot more non-tanks to heal, so the benefit ofoH &hain Heal really start to shine. hain Heal in partular is ne for the melee & tanks in the maiden fight, melee on flare duty forurator, the and raid wide damage in Netherspite. It's ne, butertainly as you say, not as nessary as it is in 25 man situations. A Shaman with earthshield on is amazing against the spirit bolts in hex-lord....
Team Goals2009-04-02 00:00:00As a team, there are various goals you should focus on: ScoutFind the enemy towns. Find out what races the players have chosen and where each player is located. Watch for expansions and kill them when they come up. Predict where the enemy will expand and keep watching those areas for enemy Town Halls. Stick together! In team games, it's important to stick together and fight together with your allies. Often this simple strategy can win the game against players that do not work well with each other. For example, in a 3 vs. 3 game, 3 team members stick together and launch an attack. On the opposing side, their team only has 2 of the players present to face the first 3 players. The 3 players easily kill the 2 players' armies then only have one player's army left to face. The rest of the game involves the 3 players mopping up the enemy players since there is only one army to defend. The whole game could be determined by that one battle where one of the teams didn't have all of their members present. If not all of the team is there, run until you can group up together. Do not engage if you are clearly outnumbered. Plan and announce your attacks. Defend your allies' towns and ex...
Dropped Allies2009-04-02 00:00:00If your Ally drops, you can now control their units and buildings including using their resources and buildings to create new units. The remaining team members should all help control that dropped player's town. Hold down alt to select the dropped players units among your own or double click on them. select their unit producing buildings and right-click on your Hero. This will instruct their units to travel to your Hero after they are created. Assign unit producing buildings to hot keys and press them every so often to train new troops just in case there is money built up. Using those methods you can come close to making up for that player's loss to the game, especially vs lesser players. Very ...
Have a Clue2009-04-02 00:00:00The worst teammates are those that do not have a clue what is going on in the game. They just sit in their village building and resource gathering ignorant about what is going on in the game around them. It is your responsibility to either ask what the enemy and your teammates are doing, or go see for yourself with scouting units. Don't be one of those players that are living in the dark. They are the worst teammates you can have. A good teammate knows what is going on and what to do about it. If you are clearly not ready to be a good teammate perhaps you should practice in single player or with computer players as allies in custom games.Town Portal ScrollsUse your Town Portal Scroll to save your ally's town. Use your Town Portal Scroll to teleport to a friendly ally to meet up with them to go attack an enemy. Learn more. Try to buy another Town Portal Scroll after using up your free one. Remember you can now AIM where your Town Portal Scroll sends you so aim at the ideal location to fight the enemy. Melee teleporters should position themselves at the front of the action. Coordinate AttacksTeam games are about teaming up, letting your teammates fight the rest of the enemy team. Make plans to gather your fo...
Large Scale Battles2009-04-02 00:00:00Large scale battles can be very confusing and messy. In those situations it is best to control your Hero. Command your normal units to attack and take control of the Hero. cast the Hero's spells and make sure it stays alive. When Heroes are using Auras, they can be very effective in helping the normal troops fight. So, it is important to keep them alive. Use Focused FireCommand all of your units (especially if they are ranged units) to attack one enemy, finish it off, then move on to the next unit. This can win you many battles against players that don't use focused fire. If the enemy notices you are targeting specific units and attempts to run them away, don't chase, pick a different unit to attack. Town Destroyed?Ask to borrow some resources to rebuild it. If you can't rebuild, ask for your allies to share unit control, so you can help them better control their units. Stay in the game and help! Try to get a worker out of y...
