The way I see it, if youan farm without drinking or eating, thatounts as zero downtime. Whoares if you aren't at 100% HPMP after every fight. I personallyan farm lv70-71 elementals wo ever taking a drink or eating Ofourse the casional health stone must be popped. I noted the method of dotting and running doesn't work so well unless the mobs are lv 67 and below(perhaps my spell damage is not up to par). I don't know if anyone else has noted, but after 2.0 mobs don't follow me around as long as they use to, so sometimes they're at 10%health and all of a sudden immune and they go bk to their respawn.
Shon life doesn't regen THAT mh hp.... youould potentially farm level 65's at around 70 with 600-800 spelldmg. i do the netherwing daily's and pull about 10-15 mobs at a time and 'run tank' them, it takes about 50-70 % of my hp and 40-60% of my mana. Easier way - forget about the respcing. Just group with three priests - their mana regen shouldounter the heals they give you, and youan just tap your hp for mana. Done ftw. Seriously speaking, the following needs to beonsidered: As said before, the mob follow distae has been shortened - as sh, you'll lose "good distae" between yourself and the mob, in whh you're out of attk range. You would need as mh spell damage as possible to maximize the efft of your spells and minimize mana use. About your talents: if you're using sci (master demo) for the +damage, why do you have imp. imp? As you're trying toreate a grind-spif build, and you already stated you're going to use the sci, there is no reason you should have any pts for the imp (no raidsmana battery). I would put the three points intoompleting fel intellt and master demo. Very ambitious - although you'll probably have more scess when the next expansionomes out and youan add points into dark-pt: then I would suggest you use the imp and drain-life then tap. *shrugs*. You'll definitely need more spell damage - alternating trinkets might help. Essentially it's like this, a three equation problem (assuming you onlyastoa,orr, sl oe, and then drain-tank to offset damage before drain soul; youan alter the MobDMG through the use of fear, but you'll need to ilude it in your mana use - you also don't have iHoT). To figure this out, you need to do the following: 1. Find Mob's HP and resistae to your attks, and damage to you; this is A. 2. Find damage of youroAorr+SL+DS[1 tk - ideal]; total mana needed toast these four (TM). 3. Find damage of your DL. 4.aulate spell damage aling, with total +dmg needed as X; Damage fromoAorr+SL+DS[1 tk] should (ideally) > A (mob hp) - although as aloth wearer you'll probably need to drain-life. 4b. As sh, you need to find the +dmg aling for drain-life; then you need to see how many times you'll need to use DL to make A<=0; this number is Y. 6. The total mana (TM)ost is ={oAorr+SL+DS+DL[Y]]=Z} 7. If Z <= 7% of your total mana, you're set.
