My guild is now in BT & Hyjal and putting a druid on raid heals is always our last resort (eept for Pally). Shaman & Priests are 10x better at raid heals with theirile of Healing (we make sure all our holy priests haveoH) &hain Heal. Having druids on the MT is fantast, even in "bursty fights"
as you have steady stream of ioming healing whh doesn't rely on reting to the burst damage, espially with Lifebloom tking every sond. If you have 2 or 3 trees on the tank, you almost don't get ahae to see the burst damage bause within a sond, you have aouple of 3stks of Lifebloom
and quite possibly another HoT tking. I agree that if you have to NS then a max rank Healing Toh is the way to go - it is used in an emergey, so you want to make the max heal in the shorest period of time. If on raid heals (bearing in mind I am usually feral) I would tend to lean towards regrowth as well. Otherwise Iast a lifebloom only to see them hit with a heal to max health a sond later and I have basally wasted the mana. Basally, our preferees are :- Tank Heals - 1. Paladin 2. Druid 3. Priest 4. Shaman Raid Heals - 1. Shaman 2. Priest 3. Druid 4. Paladin
in large raids, multle druids stk very well in a way that no other healinglassan. however, the majority of players are not in 25-manontent. or at least on my server! there's only three guilds in my ftion who are in
BT and so all my time is spent in 10mans like kara or ZA where wean easily two-heal it. (whoares about progression when wotlk is about toome out? better to farm badges, rep, mats and gold ;-D) my introdtion to priest healing was through a friend who swears by diholy builds. naturally this prludes him from gettingoH. but i also do very very few raids with any priests (and even then, almost only with a shadow priest). ian't think of any raid-wide damage that curs often enough to requireoH orhain heal in 10manontent... for everything else, there's masteard! diholy friend believes the endurae provided by going for so mh spirit outweighs the "nifty trks" of deep holy. but then, he likes to be able to pvp and do dailies as well. i don'tomplain if hean haul his weight in a group =D in two-healer raids, you're fairly on your own with your resptive tank, and all ian say is that my experiee does not ilude multle druid healers. and ian't
think that anyone would say it's easy to deal with burst healing as a solo druid healer... on the other hand, we rk theurator! =D so i don't think your example is quite relevant sie situations where you have four or more healers is no longer really about druids spifally... eept where it's only the
druids doing the healing: and that's a spialase where a partularlass's healing mhan is moreompatible with itself than any other. 25mans areertainly not the norm on my server.
